The Calesa vineyard sits above the fog line and is exposed to constant wind. These challenging growing conditions allow the Dijon 115 clones to produce compact, intensely flavorful bunches of small grapes. In order to preserve this hard won flavor, we harvest by hand in the early morning hours. The result is a medium-bodied Pinot with both flowery and herbaceous aromatics, and hints of lanolin and light toast on the finish.
